  • I am not a therapist or psychiatrist which means I am not trained to provide support around mental health, diagnoses, suicidal behavior, trauma treatment, or medications. If these topics arise, I will hold space and listen, but I will ultimately refer you to a licensed professional.

I am not a social worker. I am not able to assist with foster care placement, housing or employment matching, but I can recommend some organizations that might help.

I don’t have a one-size-fits-all plan of action that I want all of my clients to conform to. Each person and organization is on a unique journey and guidance will be tailored to the specific needs and goals of each one.

I don’t have a set of expectations on how to live or behave which means I won’t tell you what you should do or when to do it. I will help you explore what your options are and support you as you decide what is right for you at your own pace.

I will not engage in debate about the dignity or right for LGBTQ+ people to exist and be treated with equity, love and respect. I will support folks who hold biases but there must also be an intention to evolve beyond these beliefs.

I am not trained to offer religious counseling to folks whose beliefs contrast with their desire to embrace LGBTQ+ folks or who wish to understand religious perspectives on gender or sexuality. I can offer a compassionate ear for your experience, however.

I do not offer family interventions. I don’t carry messages back and forth from loved ones, because I keep information confidential. I will encourage you and support you to be able to have those conversations directly with your loved ones.

I will never deter or discourage someone from living authentically, but I do believe that safety is an important priority in deciding when and where to be out.

I am not on call or able to provide suicide prevention services, or other types of crisis intervention.

I do not provide medical or legal advice.

I do not provide services to anyone who does not voluntarily consent to working with me.

Rates & Reciprocity

  • The first 20-minute consultation is offered freely to determine if I am a good fit for your needs. If we decide to move forward, my rates are offered on a sliding scale and vary depending on the nature of the consultation.

$50-100/hr for gentle guidance for parents, families and other caregivers seeking support around their trans loved ones

$25-75/hr for gentle support for those questioning their gender identity

$75-100/hr Private mindfulness and meditation instruction.

$200/hr or professional consulting with non-profits and businesses around gender diversity, inclusivity and creating LGBTQ+ affirming environments.

Training and public speaking rates vary according to multiple factors including scope of work and preparation involved. Contact me directly for a quote.

Each month, I offer 2 free 30-minute sessions to those who are unable to afford my rates on a first come, first served basis.

  • Far too often, trans, queer, women, and femme people are expected to provide emotional labor at no cost, depleting us without acknowledgment for this work. Financial reciprocity is an ask to respect the value of what I am offering, which includes my training and education, years of experience, and many hours of unpaid volunteer labor to reach this place of expertise.

  • Contact me directly if you are unable to pay my rates and I will do my best to make it work. If you have other bartering ways you would like to supplement the fee, we can discuss that possibility (i.e. marketing or graphic design support, etc.).

I also offer 2 free 30-minute sessions per month on a first come, first served basis.
